Preschool is available to all children between the ages of two and five. Parents or guardians who are interested in enrolling their children need to visit Smart Start's administrative office at 145 W. El Roblar Drive in Meiners Oaks where they will complete a one-page informational application.
To determine if your child may be eligible for a preschool subsidy from the state, parents or guardians must provide one month's of current consecutive paycheck stubs from the parent(s) who are living with the child in the same household.
Smart Start's School-Age Program is available to all children in kindergarten through sixth grade. To enroll your child, parents or guardians need to visit the Smart Start administrative office and complete an informational application.
Smart Start's school-age program is funded in the same way as its pre-school program. Fees are based on family size and income.
